Is Dungeon Defender fun without friends?

I saw this game on steam and have seen videos on youtube and it looks like a good game and a lot of fun. The only problem is that I don't have friends that play on steam and they refuse to for whatever reason. I've heard it's not nearly as fun solo so I was wondering what is online like when you don't have friends. Is there a lobby where you find other people to play with and how well does it work? If there isn't one, anyone know of another way to find other random people to play with?Is Dungeon Defender fun without friends?
i play on xbox so the only thing i can tell you is that they're telling you the truth. It's still a fun game but would be very hard to beat near the end on higher difficulties by yourself.
