How do you know if your pc can handle a game?

I want to play Dungeon Defenders and the requirements are:

Minimum:

OS: Windows XP

Processor: 1 Ghz Dual-Core CPU

Memory: 1 GB RAM

Hard Disk Space: 2GB

Video Card: Graphics Card with Shader Model 3 support, 256 MB video memory

DirectX庐: 9.0c

Sound: DirectSound-compatible sound device

How do I know my pc can handle this? How do you know if your pc can handle a game?
Click Start, Right click Computer, Click Properties. See what the usable RAM is. If it is atleast 1GB (2GB reccomended) you can play. Also on that page is your OS. Windows XP, Vista, or 7 can run the game. For video card, open up start, search for device manager. Open it and Extend the Display adapters. It will show a AMD, ATI, NVIDIA OR INTEL. All of those should work if the game only needs 1GB of ram. Upgrade your Directx if you havent already. How do you know if your pc can handle a game?
You could try installing a demo that you can download off the internet. If your computer can handle the demo, it can handle the real game.
